As your adventure continues with Luxor tours package, your Go Travel Egypt representative will escort you to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Day 06: Luxor Tour II “East bank of Luxor” – Flight to Cairo (B)‎

You will meet your Luxor tour guide on time at your pickup location (Luxor airport or hotel in Luxor or Luxor train or bus stations) then he will escort you to your private transport with driver and starting your private Luxor tour II “East bank of the river Nile” (only 2 sites from 4) “classically recommending first 2” as following:

  • Karnak Temple:
    It took 2000 years to complete this complex, this place was full of life! Egyptian, Persian, Greek, and Roman art and architecture add to style of the temple. The whole site has colossal statues, relief, obelisks and halls and, of course, the Avenue of the Sphinxes.
  • Luxor Temple:
    Huge statues of Ramses II is the big mark, along with the scenes over the first pylon of warrior king upon his chariot. View the hieroglyphs showing that peace is achieved. Watch the celebrations of the Opet festival over the wall of the hypostyle hall. Next the temple of Alexander the Great was converted into a Church and is now a mosque. Also see the Birth and Coronation rooms too.
  • Luxor Museum:
    located halfway between Luxor and Karnak temples on the Corniche el-Nil. A small but quality collection of antiquities, mainly from the Luxor region. Includes most of the remarkable collection of pharaonic statuary found in a hidden cache within Luxor Temple in 1989.
  • Museum of Mummification:
    As the name suggests, the small but fascinating collection is devoted to mummification practices.

Day 07: Cairo – Departure (B)‎

After enjoying breakfast on your final day in Luxor, our representative will meet you in your hotel lobby 3 hours before your flight actual take off time.
