Day 02: Luxor Tour II - Nile Cruise (B - L – D)‎

As your adventure continues with the Nile cruise tour package, after breakfast you will be met by your tour guide who will continue private guidance of your Egypt tour package from Luxor as following:

  • Karnak Temple:
    It took 2000 years to complete this complex, this place was full of life! Egyptian, Persian, Greek, and Roman art and architecture add to style of the temple. The whole site has colossal statues, relief, obelisks and halls and, of course, the Avenue of the Sphinxes.
  • Luxor Temple:
    Huge statues of Ramses II is the big mark, along with the scenes over the first pylon of warrior king upon his chariot. View the hieroglyphs showing that peace is achieved. Watch the celebrations of the Opet festival over the wall of the hypostyle hall. Next the temple of Alexander the Great was converted into a Church and is now a mosque. Day 05: Nile Cruise - Abu Simbel – flight to Cairo (B)‎

Today’s tour from Aswan is to an unforgettable huge temple you will see in your 14 Days tour package from Luxor with private guidance and transportation from Aswan and return as following:

  • Temple of Abu Simbel:
    The temples considered to be miracle when it was built and another miracle as it was rebuilt 1960, saving it from flooding of Nasser Lake, King Ramses II had it constructed to show himself as a king and a god. His cartouches display this offering to himself as a god. When you enter its gates, there is a light that will go through the pillared hall with colossi statues of Ramses II and his scenes as a victorious king in the Battle of Kadesh. Most importantly, in his sanctuary, the holy of the holies, you may read the romantic letter from the king to be delivered to his beloved wife Nefertari inside her small temple there and see where the Queen will read it with the music of Hathor.
